The advantages of a compass
You might want to try to build your own compass. It will come handy once you remember to bring it with them to any picnic trip in a forest where you have no access to phones, walkies talkies or especially when you get lost.
In some cities, local people take a compass for granted. When they have to explain a direction , they find it very difficult to do so because they don’t know which north, which east or west.
It is not efficient in business either because it takes time for a client to find a direction when it can save time if customers and sellers learn to tell direction from using a normal compass so that they can tell which north, west, east or south.
Building your compass at home
Follow the video tutorial, it is quite simple. You don’t need lots of materials to build your own compass. Try collecting as shown in the video such as a razor, a coin, glue gun, a little stick, scissors,…etc. Go a head and test your compass after you build once. Match the accuracy with your cell phone to make sure that the head of the razor point to the north , which is the right direction.
